The style of this album is based on traditions of European jazz, but it is also influenced heavily by modern American movements (neo-soul, funk, etc.) and even electronic music. The sound is also defined by dynamic improvisations and a blend of unexpected influences and styles.

“On the Rhodes again” is result of an experiment where Gábor Csordás replaced the acoustic piano sound with a Fender Rhodes Mark I piano, creating a completely different soundscape, which gave the original compositions a brand new shine.

Gábor Csordás
A versatile pianist based in Budapest. Mostly known for his jazz albums, he has released 5 original albums since 2019, with 3 new releases coming in 2022. With his international band he has toured in Japan in 2019, and besides composing and playing jazz, he has also enjoyed success as a film soundtrack composer, receiving the first prize at the prestigious Bujtor film festival for his soundtrack of the documentary “Egodetox”. He is also working with singers and other artists as a producer, and composer.

Vince Bartók
Graduated from the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy Budapest, he is one of the most wanted bassists of Hungary, playing and recording with Tamás Balogh, Mário Rafael, Bálint Gyémánt, Péter Szendőfi, Zita Gereben, Margó, Indigó and Szilva Péter Szabó.

Adonisz Fábry
A student of the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy. His teachers include András Mohay, Federico Malaman, Dániel Serei and Tamás Geröly. His style is a fusion of jazz and rock, he got international recognition with his band DAS Trió playing fusion jazz-rock.
