Margaux Poguet
sings to tell stories.
She first explored music through the bassoon and theater at the Conservatoire of Bourges before graduating with distinction and the jury’s highest honors from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in 2023.
In the 2024/2025 season, she makes several important role debuts in the Mozartian repertoire, including Elvira (Don Giovanni), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), and Vitellia (La clemenza di Tito), with appearances at the Théâtre de l’Athénée, Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing, Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne, and the Opéra de Massy.
Passionately committed to artistic diversity, Margaux regularly collaborates with young composers on contemporary creations and expands her stage experience through musical theater projects at venues such as Lido 2 Paris and the Opéra de Toulon.
A laureate of the Fondation Royaumont, the Festival Ravel Academy, and the Villecroze Academy, she has also received support from the Lions Club Foundation, the Fondation Meyer, and patron Patrick Petit.
For her debut recording, she offers a program of German music weaving together Alban Berg’s Sieben frühe Lieder, Viktor Ullmann’s settings of poems by Louise Labé, and songs by Kurt Weill arranged for trio with piano and jazz double bass.
Margaux also holds a research master’s degree in philosophy from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
Josephine Ambroselli
Her first vivid memory of music is of her father at the piano, belting out the orchestral lines of Schumann’s concerto. From that moment, the piano quickly became the center of her life.
Trained in Leipzig, Brussels, Cologne and at the CNSM in Paris, she studied with Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Piotr Anderzewski, Anthony Spiri, Anne Le Bozec, Susan Manoff, Emmanuel Olivier and Maria Belooussova.
She has a deep love for chamber music and has specialized in vocal collaboration. A prizewinner in several international competitions, she won First Prize for Voice-Piano Duo at the Nadia et Lili Boulanger competition in 2015, with soprano Marie Perbost. Their CD Une jeunesse à Paris was released by Harmonia Mundi in 2019.
Her album Ljus – Swedish Songs, recorded with mezzo-soprano Marine Chagnon and released by Mirare in 2022, highlights her strong affinity for Swedish music.
Her passion for blending art forms also nourishes her stage work. Among her multidisciplinary creations are “Fugue en fuite”, “Le ciel était trop bleu”, “Une jeunesse à Paris”, “Le travail du peintre” and “Taxi Folie”.
Joséphine currently teaches and works as a collaborative pianist at the CRR de Paris, the Chœur de l’Orchestre de Paris, and the Maîtrise Populaire de l’Opéra-Comique.
Jules Billé
began playing the double bass as a child. After studying classical double bass and jazz in La Roche-sur-Yon and Nantes (France), he entered the Jazz and Improvised Music department at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he studied with Riccardo Del Fra.
He discovered Hindustani music with Nicolas Delaigue and took up the cello and the colascione, a Renaissance bass lute, at the same time as practicing jazz.
He plays with Paul Lay, Alban Darche, Etienne Manchon.
Since 2021, he has been a member of the Armel Dupas Trio, with whom he has released several albums.
Jazz musician based in Paris, he is experimenting with a wide range of musical styles, from French song to musical and Balkan music.
