Zemlinsky Quartet
Founded in 1944, the Zemlinsky Quartet has since its inception become a shining example of Czech String Quartet culture. His four string quartets are part of the ensemble’s standard repertoire. In 2010 the Zemlinsky Quartet won the “First Grand Prize” at the International String Quartet Competition. One of a long line of prizes won. The quartet can be heard regularly in her home country of the Czech Republic, but is also known worldwide.
