For his fifth studio album Born to Win, Born to Lose, Douwe Bob hit up the studio with his brand new band. On this album, he brings an ode to the still very much present music traditions in America and found his perfect producer in Daniël Lohues. The album has a light "Born to Win" and a dark "Born to Lose" side; with these songs, Douwe wraps his arms around his listener's shoulders. On the one hand, to celebrate life, and on the other hand, to provide comfort during trying times.
