Having made waves on stages over the past 18 months, Melbourne-based Loose Content are releasing their new 5 track EP "Forth & Back".

What Loose Content have really learned from rock bands of the ’90s is how to nail the loud/quiet structure. The trio are keenly aware of when to cathartically rage and when to hold back within the dynamic tracks.

are staking their claim as one of Australia's most exciting & urgent bands. At BIGSOUND 2025, Dave Rowntree of Blur named them his favourite act of the festival, while Richard Kingsmill listed them among his top 10 highlights of the week. The 3-piece indie/alt-rock outfit was formed in the hinterlands of Byron Bay during high school. Members MiLLa (vocals, bass, 21), Sam Sanders (guitar, 21) and Aquila Porter (drums, backing vocals, 19) draw on influences from The Police, Radiohead, & Midnight Oil, blending alt-rock grit with power pop, indie and punk rock spirit. Despite their youth, they’ve already performed high-profile supports - Grinspoon, The Preatures, Bôa (UK), The Cruel Sea, Magic Dirt, & The Living End - as well as national headline tours. Their debut EP was produced by Grammy award-winning Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Powderfinger) & a new EP in collab with Producer Dan Luscombe (Courtney Barnett, Amyl) is set for release in early 2026!
