Neuer Maßstab in Sachen Hardcore: viertes Album der US-Band.

Die amerikanische Melodic-Hardcore-Band The Ghost Inside veröffentlicht ihr viertes Album, das zweite auf Epitaph Records. "Dear Youth" wurde co-produziert von Jeremy McKinnon (A Day To Remember) und dem Produzenten Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Motionless In White).

Wie immer liefert Frontmann Jonathan Vigil ein starkes Statement in Sachen Post-Hardcore ab, wie er es selbst in einem Brief an sein jüngeres Ich erklärt. Der Brief findet sich im Booklet wieder und bildet das Konzept des Albums. Vom ultrabrutalen "Mercy" bis hin zum leidenschaftlichen "Phoenix" beweist die Band aus Los Angeles, wie sehr sie am Songwriting gearbeitet hat. Neben Alben wie "Sempiternal" von Bring Me The Horizon und "Homesick" von "A Day To Remember" setzt "Dear Youth" einen neuen Maßstab in Sachen Hardcore. The Ghost Inside
is a Los Angeles-based hardcore band. They began as a group of friends in El Segundo, CA united by their shared passion for bands in the hardcore scene. The group stands for authenticity, dedication, perseverance and the most literal adherence to the core values behind their craft. Sonically, the group places equal emphasis on deeply personal vocals, urgent riffing and pile-driving breakdowns within the framework of their heavily melodic modern hardcore. The Ghost Inside is: Jonathan Vigil (vocals), Aaron Brooks (guitar), Zach Johnson (guitar), Jim Riley (bass) Andrew Tkaczyk (drums).

Previous releases from The Ghost Inside are their first full-length Fury and the Fallen Ones (2008), Returners (2010), and Get What You Give (2012).
