Danish composer and pianist Arvid Holst presents his new EP Fjer - six piano‑driven pieces shaped by a refined blend of acoustic performance and understated electronic ambience. Written and developed over the last year, the EP explores a calm, spacious sound world where subtle electronic textures lift and frame the piano without ever overshadowing it. The collection’s title - which means feather in English - is an apt description of the listening experience as textures float delicately in the aether. Within each of the pieces, Holst works to balance simplicity with depth, stillness with movement. The result is a cohesive, atmospheric collection that sits comfortably between modern classical and ambient minimalism — warm, detailed, and quietly expressive.
