Info for In Our Bones
Das Debütlbum „In Our Bones“ der US-amerikanische Rock/Pop-Band Against The Current steht in den Startlöchern. Die Band veröffentlichte nach einer ersten Teaser-Single „Outsiders“ nun mit „Running With The Wild Things“ einen weiteren Track als Vorgeschmack auf das neue Album.
Against the Current haben All Time Low und Good Charlotte im Vereinigten Königreich begleitet, bevor sie im Februar diesen Jahres mit ihrer „Running With The Wild Things“ Headline-Tour in Kontinentaleuropa – unter anderem auch in Deutschland – auf Tour gingen. Die neuerliche europäische Konzertreihe folgt auf die große „Gravity World Tour“, die in Thailand startete und für weitere ausverkaufte Konzerthallen u.a. in Tokio, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris und natürlich in den USA sorgte.
Against The Current besteht aus Chrissy Costanza, Dan Gow und Will Ferri. Die drei Musiker konnten in den letzten Jahren vor allem in den Sozialen Medien eine große und engagierte Fanbase aufbauen. Vor dem Plattenvertrag mit Fueled By Ramen/Warner Music veröffentlichte die Band bereits eigenständig ihre EP „Gravity“, die #4 der Billboard Heat Seekers Charts erobern konnte.

Against The Current
is a small pop/rock-based band from Poughkeepsie, NY (try saying that 10x fast!). Band members include Chrissy Costanza (Lead vocals), Dan Gow (Vocals/Guitar), Jeremy Rompala (Guitar), Joe Simmons (Bass), and Will Ferri (Drums). The band officially joined Youtube on August 6, 2011 and is managed by Michael Ferri.
Currently, Against The Current has two original singles, entitled “Thinking” and Closer, Faster, and are both available on iTunes. Notable cover songs include “Good Time – Owl City ft. Carly Rae Jepsen,” “Not Over You – Gavin DeGraw,” and “Catch My Breath – Kelly Clarkson.” Additionally, Chrissy has done several collaborations with notable YouTube cover artists, such as Heart Attack with Sam Tsui and Kurt Schneider, and Beauty and a Beat with Alex Goot and Kurt Schneider.
If there was any one song that they’ve done to bring them up to a major public spotlight, it would have to be their collaboration with Alex Goot in their cover of Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen’s song, “Good Time.” They’re band alone brings sensational vocals with their own original pop/rock feel. Good, solid beats and rhythms that accompany Crissy’s vocals make for some incredible potential for Against The Current!
