Info for Lost Love Symphony

Dream Ocean wurde 2009 von Mezzo-Sopranistin Basak Ylva und dem Gitarristen Oz Khan gegründet. Die inzwischen in Deutschland beheimatete Band, hat ihre Wurzeln sowohl in Istanbul, als auch in Köln. Nach etlichen Club-Gigs, Festival-Auftritten und der EP „Daydreamer“, gibt es also nun endlich das erste komplette Album, an dem ein paar Genre bekannte Größen, beteiligt waren. Beispielsweise Produzent Jacob Hansen (u.a Amaranthe) der „Lost Love Symphony“ gemastert hat aber auch Joost van den Broek, der Teile der Arrangements gemacht hat. Einigen vielleicht bekannt, durch seine jahrelange Zusammenarbeit mit Xandria. Das sind natürlich beides Garanten für einen fantastischen, sehr ausgewogenen Sound, mit dem das Erstlingswerk von Dream Ocean glänzen kann.

Dream Ocean
was formed by the guitarist Oz Khan and mezzo-soprano Başak Ylva on vocals. In 2009 their first demo “Missing” was released. By receiving very good feedbacks, the band has made many shows in Turkey. By that time the singles “Uyan” and “Divine Light” were released. After two years departure the band started composing new songs with the new line-up. The band is harmonizing the power metal and the opera with the symphonic elements in a modern way.

There will be fresh releases and shows at upcoming days.
