"I wrote 'These Days' late one night, or I guess early morning, when I had been up all night, and I was honestly not in a good headspace," Usrey said. "I felt like I just wasn't good enough for anything, which I think is something that a lot of people struggle with. Then when the sun started coming up I got to thinking 'man, I made it another day, and that's what counts,' because sometimes that's all you can do is hope you can make it through to another day. This song is one that I really needed to write and put out for myself, but I hope that it resonates with the people who need it just like I did."
