One of these means is embodied in a High-bit FLAC decoder that allows digital music data to be transmitted to the customer without loss or corruption. Music will be enjoyed at the client’s sound environment in outstanding vibrancy, transparency and spaciousness. We also owe a breakthrough innovation to our R&D department for streaming music digitally in excellence to the customer. The magic word is P-MQS (Pure Master Quality Sound). Which payment methods are available?

Payment is possible via VISA, MasterCard and PayPal.

On which devices can I use HRA Streaming?

HRA Streaming currently works on Mac and Windows desktop computers as well as on network players of selected partner manufacturers (https://www.highresaudio.com/de/content/audiosyste...). You can soon also find HRA Streaming in the software players of Audirvana. Mobile support on iOS and Android (smartphones / tablets) is currently under development and will be available for free later this year.

How many user accounts can I set up?

Currently you can set up only one user account per person. Each user account is protected by a login with username and password. You can log in on our homepage as well as with the HRA-Streaming app. Only the logged in user has full access to the HIGHRESAUDIO's streaming offerings. Another person can not parallel be logged in and use the service.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes, HRA Streaming requires a fast and stable internet connection. At least 20Mbit/s (net) or higher are required. A fixed cabling with your router / home network is absolutely necessary for the playback of high-resolution audio files. WiFi, Bluetooth or aptX-HD do not offer enough bandwidth to support the playback of high-resolution audio files.

Please check the net data rate provided by your internet connection. Best of prime time in the evening from 8PM. http://www.meter.net/ You'll need at least +20Mbit/s (LAN) and +25Mbit/s (WLAN). The preferred connection is via LAN cable. With WiFi, the router should be a short distance away.

Computer: Technical requirements: minimum 2.4 GHz CPU, i7, 8GB RAM (better 16GB). The available RAM should be completely free, as we drag each album into RAM and play it from there in order to be able to offer the best possible quality. Please close all open programs!

Empty your RAM memory

We recommend that you regularly empty your RAM memory. Preferably before you open our streaming app.

The main memory / RAM memory is the central storage unit for all data that are required for programs or program parts that are currently being executed and for all active system processes.

We load the entire track / album into the RAM memory and play the music from the RAM (cache). That sounds far better than streaming directly from our servers. So we decided on the best possible sound quality. Unfortunately, weaker computers with little RAM and / or CPU are not suitable for HiRes playback.

Special programs such as RAM cleaning tools clear the RAM memory.

Why a Desktop App (program) for Windows and Mac?

We have developed a native Desktop App for the operating systems of Microsoft Windows (from version 7) and Apple macOS (from 10.9. (Mavericks). The HRA Streaming App is necessary to render the 24-bit FLAC files up to 192kHz, 24bit lossless and unadulterated. Important: in the settings of the HRA Streaming App, the sound output of the receiving playback device e.g. if you use a D/A converter via USB output needs be selected and assigned. Please look for your sound card or device driver.

The HRA Streaming App needs to be downloaded and installed from our homepage. Click on the download button and follow the instructions for downloading and installing the app.

Why no web-browser support?

None of the common web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Safari supports playback of 24-bit FLAC files.
