Info for Ubiquity

Formed in 2016 between Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall, Haunt the Woods skilfully weave together alt-rock, folk, prog and pop with an epic level of pomp and poetic elegance that suggests a far longer existence than their younger years suggest. Borrowing from Queen and Muse on the one hand, Jeff Buckley or Radiohead and with a touch of Beatles-infused pop sensibility on the other, they have the rare ability to evoke a heritage while creating a sound that is entirely their own: masterfully multi-layered, gleefully unconventional and creatively informed by literature and landscape.

Haunt The Woods

Haunt The Woods
Blending sounds from alternative, prog, folk and pop and channelling influences from the likes of Pink Floyd, Muse, Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver, Haunt The Woods have crafted a distinctive sound, glistening with ambient swells and underpinned by expressive rhythms and masterly songwriting.

Beginning their musical journey in rural Cornwall, Jon, Phoenix, Olly and Jack have gained a reputation as one of the South West's most exciting live acts following tours with Embrace and Sunset Sons.

The band released two EPs, The Line and Circle last year, and have performed at festivals including Glastonbury, Boardmasters and Port Elliot, as well as selling out a bi-monthly residency at Plymouth Barbican Theatre, and headlining Plymouth Pavilions ‘Introduces’ showcase.
