With ART OF THE DUO the two well travelled musicians Daniel Schnyder and David Taylor explore some of the exiting possibilities of the duo format. The 25 compositions focus on 21st century music and the beauty of its variety in stile expression and aesthetics.

ART of THE DUO is designed to inspire a new generation of musicians and get them involved in the creative process of interpretation and composition, connecting the two worlds as it used to be for centuries.

The two young classical musicians Astrig and Chouchane Siranossian worked closely with Daniel Schnyder. Their interpretations illustrate the fact that ART OF THE DUO is a playground for all kinds of combinations of instruments. It is not limited to the two exotic instruments featured on the recording. The music works for almost all instrumental combinations.
