Info for Untouchable
Kim Hoorweg is releasing a brand-new record with originals written by her and Raul Midón (collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock and many more), widely known as an amazing songwriter, skilled vocalist, and guitar virtuoso. On her new album, she's accompanied by the creme de la creme of the Dutch jazz scene: Anton Goudsmit, Niels Broos, Glenn Gaddum Jr. and Joost Kroon. She describes it as indie-jazz with a synth-touch. Also, the lady produced the record herself, did the artwork for the album and is releasing it on her own label.
Dutch jazz vocalist Kim Hoorweg has adopted New York City as her second home. She is known for her clever originals, her clear, warm and pleasant timbre and charming way of reinterpreting old forgotten songs.
