Info for Sunlit
Luah is a compilation of three female musicians who are performing delicately with each other. With their arrangements and unusual instrumentation they are creating something new. The compositions unite jazz, folk and pop elements while making use of the English and Portuguese language. Together, the three women search for new and different shades in order to constantly lead their audience into different worlds. Continually, their voices interweave to form a unique melodious web. In combination with a jazzy guitar sound Luah builds an expressive as well as unconventional sound. The band was particularly inspired by singers like Joni Mitchell and Becca Stevens.
