Info for Lands End

From passion to sound: "Music is the melody to which the world is the text". The words of Arthur Schopenhauer describe very aptly how Walter Kehl also experiences music - as a passion and permanent companion. In addition to music, his interests and professional activities span a broad spectrum: from art and culture to his passion for real estate, for law and justice, the coexistence and home of people par excellence.

Walter Kehl's repertoire includes piano pieces by Chopin, Grieg, Schumann, Rachmaninoff, Scrjabin, Brahms and Bach in particular. The Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin, the Warsaw Piano Concerto and the concerts with Marc Sway and Vera Kaa prove the pianist's immense versatility.

Walter Kehl, piano

Walter Kehl
began his musical career with his first performances at the age of five. In the 1970s, classical piano training followed with Boris Mersson. Walter Kehl played classical piano recitals in numerous Swiss cities and went on tour in Germany. In the following years, Walter Kehl wrote various musical and song compositions. He was awarded 3rd prize for his composition at the Swiss preliminary round for the Concours d'Eurovision. Numerous studio recordings, recordings and piano concerts followed in Europe.
