Following hot on the heels of last month’s exciting album reveal, Brisbane favourites Dead Letter Circus have now announced a huge summer tour to accompany and dropped a brand new piece of music.

Kicking off in November, the Dead Letter Circus Album Tour will see the band bring their fierce live set to stages across Bunbury, Margaret River and Perth, through to Adelaide and Canberra and the east coast – with regional shows in between. These dates will be the first run of shows since the band’s small intimate club run back in June.

“We’re so psyched to finally give this album over to the people” says frontman Kim Benzie. Taking all these new songs on the road to some of our favourite places in Australia will be a blast! This is the beginning of a whole new chapter for the DLC family and we can’t wait!”

It’s a big day for Dead Letter Circus fans. The band have just announced details for their brand new single ‘The Armour You Own’ plus a small and intimate run of live shows in support.

‘The Armour You Own’ is the first new piece of original music from Dead Letter Circus since 2015’s Aesthesis. It also sees a welcomed return to their amplifiers after 2017’s The Endless Mile – a stripped and acoustic reimagination of songs from the Brisbane five-piece’s career.

The single is lead by crunching guitar riffs, driving rhythms and showcases frontman Kim Benzie’s soaring signature vocals over huge hooks. The song was produced by the duo of Forrester Savell (Karnivool) and Matt Bartlem (Jarryd James, Matt Corby) and while its sonically impressive – the lyrics underlie an important message. Benzie explains further..

“The Armour You Own spawned from guiding someone important in my life through a bout of anxiety. The constant musing around flipping your moments of fragility into opportunities for growth. TAYO is the perfect vessel for this message – it’s a pulsing confident riff-monster, whilst dripping with positivity.”#

Dead Letter Circus
are an alternative rock band from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, who have been compared to The Mars Volta and Karnivool and have become one of the more popular bands in Australian rock.

Their debut album This Is the Warning debuted at #2 on the Australian album charts and at #1 on the iTunes chart upon release and spawned a number of singles that were played heavily on radio.
