Info for Tales of Us

Spanning a large number of genres, Jordan Max unveiled his sophomore EP Tales Of Us.

Showcasing a distinctive sound, Max's music options sharp songwriting accompanied by his raspy tenor. On Tales Of Us, the British singer-songwriter fuses R&B, funk and soul influences as he contemplates on his previous relationships and inside battles.

"These songs got here from occasions that occurred to me within the final two years, from falling out of affection to marching to freedom," he tells Billboard.

On the EP's opening observe "War," Max's highly effective voice is juxtaposed with comfortable piano. Don't sleep on the smooth-as-silk "Pray," both, nor on the album's crown jewel, "Kingdom."

"It's a few breakup I went by a number of years in the past. The feelings on the time impressed a brand new feeling that introduced out a special texture in my voice," Max explains of "Kindgom," which sees him signing off from that relationship. "This music is me [moving] on from the darkish days and heartache I went by after discovering how painful love will be," he provides.
