ist in der Szene ein gefragter und vielbeschäftiger Elektro- und Kontrabassist. Viele Musiker, auch international, ob Jazz-, Rock- oder Country, zeigen mit dem Daumen nach oben, wenn sie seinen Namen hören. Er komponiert und arrangiert, schreibt Musik für zahlreiche Formationen und Bands. Er spielt Konzerte auf Tourneen in der Schweiz, in Europa, Japan, Südkorea, etc. Er trägt und spielt seinen Sound auf die Theaterbühnen, in die Clubs und die Konzerthallen. Claude Meier bringt seine Bässe, egal ob die Saiten dick wie Drahtseile sind oder dünn wie Spaghetti, zum Schwingen und zum Jubilieren. Da knarrt das Holz, es ächzt und flirrt die Melodie, es hämmert, klopft und schabt. Meier riskiert 'nen dicken Bass.
