Info for Spitzenklang im Weinbauland (Die Klais-Orgel von St. Bartholomäus Zornheim)

On 28 August 2022, the new Klais organ of St. Bartholomew's Church in Zornheim near Nieder-Olm was consecrated. With this instrument, the Rhine-Hessian wine-growing region south of Mainz was enriched by a remarkable instrument full of character that is unparalleled in the area. With the album "Spitzenklang im Weinbauland", the first recording of the instrument is available with the consecration. Cantor Dr. Johannes M. Schröder from Wiesbaden presents the instrument in all its colours, spanning the spectrum from early baroque music from France to avant-garde sounds of our time from Germany.
