These Waltzes, composed for piano four hands, are the prelude to a recording which explores a selection of my compositions for the piano, revisited by the inspired interpretation of my disciple Dr Soojin Joo. From the first Waltz written for my daughter Nadia up to the last one reminiscing them all, the set is evocative of the atmosphere of the valses-musette, so typical of the early 20th century Paris.
