The Bristol band’s brilliantly received debut album, 2016’s Fed To The Lions, established them as one of the most electrifying new bands in the country. Change Your Position does more than just build what they achieved with that record. It pushes the Tax The Heat sound to the next level, adding a razor-sharp modern edge to their rock ’n’ roll approach. The influences they have drawn on - from groundbreaking modern icons QOTSA and White Denim to such eternal visionaries as Bowie and Prince - were uniformly contemporary, though the end result is uniquely Tax The Heat.

2015 war ein intensives Jahr für die aus Bristol stammenden, aufstrebenden TAX THE HEAT. Nach der Veröffentlichung der zwei gelobten Singles 'Fed To The Lions' und 'Highway Home' (beide waren in den Playlists der Rock-Radios vertreten - eine sogar bei Planet Rock gelistet) hat die Band ihren Live-Ruf durch Support-Auftritte für CADILLAC 3, REEF, THE GRAVELTONES, BLACK STAR RIDERS, MASTERS OF REALITY, VIRGINMARYS und THUNDER und Festival-Auftritte, wie beim 2000 Trees, Download und Calling, untermauert. Die einzigartige Mischung der Band (klassischer, blues-getränkter Rock mit einem Schuss modernem Alternative) bescherte ihnen eine große Anhängerschaft.
Die aus Bristol stammende Band hat sich mit ihrem Debütalbum »Fed To The Lions« (2016), das äußerst gut bei den Fans ankam, als eine der außerordentlich elektrisierenden neuen Bands des Landes etabliert. »Change Your Position« ist jedoch weitaus mehr als nur ein gleichwertiger Nachfolger.
