The 12-track project "Ain't My Last Rodeo" feature an array of melodies and lyrics that were heavily inspired by Green’s small-town upbringing in Alabama. As he highlights the slower way of life and rural influences, the country singer welcomes fans to experience his journey through the lenses of his personal experiences, values, and love of his family.

The title, Ain’t My Last Rodeo was pulled from the track “My Last Rodeo.” This marks one of the most sentimental tunes on the project as it was a solo write from Green that spawned from one of the final conversations he had with his late Grandaddy Buford while in the hospital. Buford Green is credited for having a huge influence on the “Hell Of A Way To Go” singer’s love for music, his education of the arts and his appreciation for the outdoors. His grandfather was also the one to convert his great-grandparents’ home into the Golden Saw Music Hall, creating a venue for local musicians to showcase their talent.

“I was fortunate enough to grow up within about three miles of my grandparents, so they were a huge part of my growing up and who I am—and this album is a lot of who I am,” Riley Green shared in a press release. “This is really the first time I was able to really take my time, write and record songs that really felt like a cohesive album—I’m really proud of it and want to thank the fans for all of their encouragement—I hope y’all enjoy it.”
