Katharina Konrad
The first milestones of Katharina Konradi’s still-young career include First Prize at the 2016 German Music Competition and the Special Prize of the Walter and Charlotte Hamel Foundation awarded for her outstanding achievement. Born in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Konradi began her vocal training in 2009 with Julie Kaufmann in Berlin and completed her studies in Munich with Christiane Iven, Donald Sulzen, and Fritz Schwinghammer, earning a Master’s in Lied interpretation. After beginning her career at the Kammeroper Munich and Theater Hof, the soprano has been an ensemble member of the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden since the 2015/16 season, where she sings the major roles for her voice, including Pamina, Gretel, Susanna, and Zdenka. During the 2017/18 season she gave her debut at the Staatsoper Hamburg as Ännchen in Der Freischütz. Konradi performs with such celebrated orchestras as the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, Tonhalle Orchester Zurich, Dresdener Philharmoniker, and Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. She is a prizewinner at Germany’s national “Jugend musiziert” competition and at the Sommerakademie Mozarteum. Konradi won First Prize in the “Lied Duo” category from the Kulturkreis Gasteig in Munich, and is a scholarship holder of the Paul Hindemith Society Berlin, Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Foundation, and German National Academic Foundation.

Gerold Huber
studied piano with Friedemann Berger at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich and attended the art song class of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau in Berlin. In 1998 he received the Prix International Pro Musicis in Paris/New York together with baritone Christian Gerhaher, with whom he regularly collaborates. He performs at such major festivals as the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg and Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival as well as at major international concert halls including the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and London’s Wigmore Hall. As a sought-after chamber music partner and accompanist who also works with the younger generation of singers, he collaborates with many internationally-renowned artists. Since 2013 Huber has been Professor of Vocal Accompaniment at the University of Music Würzburg. He is Artistic Director of the Polling Festival of Old and New Music.

Andreas Lipp
has been solo clarinetist of the Staatsphilharmonie Nürnberg since May 2017. He was awarded a scholarship at the 2016 German Music Competition and took part in Germany’s National Concert of Young Musicians during the 2017/2018 season. In 2012 he won First Prize at the International Clarinet Competition in Freiburg im Breisgau. Raised in Wertingen, Bavaria, Lipp completed his studies with Norbert Kaiser in Stuttgart and Martin Spangenberg in Berlin. He has been a scholarship holder of the Orchestra Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic and the German National Academic Foundation, and has performed as solo clarinetist with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, hr-Sinfonieorchester, and Staatskapelle Dresden.
