Elisa Häring
Born 1984, pianist Elisa Häring started taking lessons at the age of three. Among her teachers were Ritva Sjöstedt, Munich, Germany, Prof. E. Appel and Julia Goldstein-Manz. Since 1997 she has been taking studies at the Sibelius-Academy in Helsinki, Finland with Dr. M. Rahkonen and Prof. M. Raekallio and since 2005 Ms. Häring has been studying with Prof. Karl Betz at the University of Music in Würzburg, Germany.

Elisa Häring has attended master-classes with Peter Nagy, Eero Heinonen, Erik T. Tawastjerna, Margit Rahkonen and Fedele Antonicelli.

Ms. Häring is a top prizewinner of different competitions such as the “National Young Musicians Competition of Germany” in 2002, including a special prize of the Irino Foundation Tokio and the Karel Kunc Chamber Music Competition (Violin-Piano in 2000, Cello-Piano in 2002).

She has been awarded with the Talent Prize for very promising young musicians of the city of Fürth, Germany in 2002 and 2004.

Henrik-Kristian Häring
Born in Germany and studied with Rainer Ginzel, Jörg Metzger and Niklas Eppinger at the University of Music in Würzburg, Germany and received his Diploma in 2008. Mr. Häring has attended many master-classes with prominent teachers, such as Daniel Müller-Schott, Joel Krosnick, David Geringas and Pieter Wispelwey.

He has been a top prizewinner of the Karel Kunc Chamber Music Competition (Cello-Piano) in 2002, and has been awarded with the Talent Prize for very promising young musicians of the city of Fürth in Germany in 2003 and 2004. While studying, he was the recipient of the Leni Geissler-scholarship Würzburg.

Henrik-Kristian Häring performs on a regular basis as soloist and chamber musician and he has played in different venues in Germany, France and Finland. His performance is described by the press as a “full savor of the sound-color palette of his instrument”, and as a “sovereign mastering of all technical and musical challenges, yet without exhibiting his virtuosity unduly.” (FLZ, 02.10.06).
