Info for Brésil mon amour

In 2018, I presented "Estrellas", an album with Cuban and Latin influences. Over 3 years ago, I shared with you "Florence", my first French-language album. The new album, Brésil mon amour, is a tribute to the Brazilian composer Antônio Carlos Jobim.

This Friday 6th October, I'm delighted to bring you a brand new album with a Brazilian flavour. Entitled 'Brésil mon amour', it's a tribute to the composer Antônio Carlos Jobim, whom I've always greatly admired. I can't wait for you to discover it!

When Florence was 18 and working as a student in a restaurant in Old Montreal, she came across a book of scores of the greatest songs by the Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Jobim. It was love at first sight. From that moment on, she played Girl from Ipanema, One note Samba, Desafinado, Agua de Beber and Les eaux de mars on the piano, night after night, without ever tiring of them. Since then, Jobim's music has held a very special place in her heart and has never left her. Paying tribute to it on record and in concert is a desire that Florence has cherished since the early days of her career, and one that she finally fulfilled this year!

So it's with immense joy that she offers you these great bossa nova classics with the intimacy, simplicity and authenticity we know so well, accompanied by a guitarist and her piano. Let yourself be lulled by the most beautiful Brazilian melodies and by Florence's warm voice, which, as she knows so well, will make you dream and travel.
