Adi Neuhaus
is quickly building an international reputation as a young virtuoso with outstanding potential – admired for his virtuosity maturity and musicality.

As a descendent of legendary pianists and pedagogues Heinrich and Stanislav Neuhaus, Adi began his early musical education at age of five with his mother Irina and his father Heinrich before pursuing his studies with Lea Agmon at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Marian Ribicky at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris and Pr. Klaus Hellwig at the Berlin University of the Arts (UDK).

In the 2022/23 season Adi has been appointed Artist-in-residence at the Ingesund Piano Center under the guidance of Pr. Julia Mustonen-Dahlkvist.

Prize winner at the Viseu and Imola Piano Competitions Adi has been awarded First Grand Prize at the Piano International Competition in Ashdod (2013) and at the Scriabin International Competition in Moscow (2010). He is grant holder of the prestigious America – Israel Cultural Foundation.

As participant of the prestigious Young Piano Masters Project of the Edward Aldwell Center in Jerusalem, Adi has been privileged in recent years to have masterclasses with world-acclaimed artists such as Murray Perahia, Yefim Bronfman, Maria Joao Pires, Andras Schiff and Emmanuel Ax.

Adi has performed in some of the major venues in Europe and in the USA as a soloist with orchestra and in chamber music. He made his European debut at the Louvre Auditorium in Paris, his Asian debut at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and his Russian debut at the Philharmonic Hall in Saint-Petersburg.

In addition, Adi took part at “Les Sommets du Classique” in Crans-Montana and the Academy of the Verbier Festival (Switzerland), the “Telavi International Music Festival” and the Academy of the Tsinandali Festival (Georgia), the “International Music Festival” in Perugia and at the “Tremino Music Festival” invited by Angela Hewitt (Italy). He also appeared as soloist with orchestras such as the Georgian National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Alicante Symphony Orchestra, the Cantus Firmus Orchestra in Moscow, the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra, the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, the Ashdod Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Lahav Shani and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Frederic Chaslin.

His recent solo performances include a German tour with two concerts at the Schumann’s house in Zwickau and Leipzig. In the USA, he performed recitals in Houston, Miami, Cleveland, Chicago and at the “Vladimir Nielson Piano Festival” in New York. In September 2018, he opened the season of “Les Pianissimes” at Salle Cortot in Paris and played the Rachmaninov’s Variations on a theme of Corelli in a live performance at the Maison de la Radio in Radio France. In France, he was invited for a project with French actress Brigitte Fossey at the first edition of the Festival “Impressions” in Vernon-Giverny.

Adi’s 2019/20 engagements included concerts in Switzerland (Zurich, Société de la Musique de la Chaux-de-Fonds), Germany (Berlin, Potsdam, Zwickau), Serbia (Belgrade, Novi Sad), Israel (Jerusalem) and France (Paris, Clermont-Ferrand).

The 2020/21 season saw him in Germany (Berlin), Italy (Ravenna) as well as in France (Festival de la Chaise- Dieu, Rencontres Artistiques de Bel Air, Nohant Festival Chopin or the Festival Pianos Folies du Touquet.) In August 2020, he was programmed to play the Schumann piano concerto with the Orchestra Philharmonique Royal de Liège for his debut at the festival de la Chaise-Dieu.

In the 2021/22 season Adi’s invitations include the Nuit du Piano at the Toulon Opera and a collaboration with the Agate Quartet at the Festival de Paunat (France), and solo recitals at the Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna (Italy) and Belgrade & Novi Sad (Serbia). He has also been invited to perform with orchestras such as the Saratov Philharmonic Orchestra (Rachmaninoff 2) and the Raanana Symphonette (Chopin 2).

The highlights of his 2022/23 season include his residency with several projects at the Ingesund Piano Center and his debut appearance at Carnegie Hall in New York.

In April 2022 Adi has recorded his first CD on Calliope - Indésens Records including works of Schumann, Chopin, Rachmaninov and Scriabin. The Cd will be release in 2023.
