Amanda veröffentlicht nun ihr drittes Album auf dem Label Ladybird. Erneut lädt Amanda den Hörer zu ihrem gut gedrechselten und swingenden melodischen Jazz in schwedischer Sprache ein, aber der Hörer kann auch eine säuerliche Selbstdistanz inmitten der warmen und alltäglichen Betrachtungen spüren. Amanda Ginsburg singt über das Einfache im Alltag, über die scheinbar banalen Geschichten, die einen großen Teil unseres Lebens ausmachen, und sie tut es mit Vergnügen. Heute ist sie eine der größten Jazzkünstlerinnen Schwedens und spielt ständig vor ausverkauften Häusern in ganz Schweden. Amanda wurde bei den Grammy Awards 2019 und 2021 als Jazz of the Year ausgezeichnet und hat an Allsång at Skansen, der SVT-Nationalfeier, Nyhetsmorgon, Go Kväll, Doobidoo und På Spåret teilgenommen. Sie hat auch mehrere Preise und Stipendien erhalten, z. B. den Jazzpreis des schwedischen Komponisten und Texters, und das Land ist voll von jungen Menschen, die durch das Hören und Spielen von Amandas Musik an Jazzmusik herangeführt werden.

This was the jury statement when Amanda Ginsburg received Sweden’s composer/lyricist’s Jazz Award, which, by the way, is not the only award this singer has received: Amanda Ginsburg has won Jazz of the Year at the Swedish Grammys not just once but twice (2019 and 2021) and she constantly plays for sold out houses around Sweden. She sings about the simple things in the everyday life, the slightly banal stories that make up a large part of everyone’s life, and she does it with gusto! Amanda Ginsburg’s signature is the everyday observations and the close address, the quiet turn in her voice that makes you think of Barbro Hörberg, Monica Zetterlund and Sonya Hedenbratt. The sound is Swedish jazz from the 60s with front figures such as the aforementioned Zetterlund and Jan Johansson, a golden age after the famous golden age of the 50s.
