Nach der Veröffentlichung der Singles „Applause“ und „Do What U Want“ (feat. R. Kelly) meldet sich Lady Gaga jetzt mit ihrem neuen, mit Spannung erwarteten, 3. Album Artpop zurück. Lady Gaga selbst bezeichnet das Album als Electronic Candy (elektronischen Leckerbissen), das sie mit DJ White Shadow produzierte.
Lady Gaga ist eine wahre Ikone: nicht umsonst wird sie erst 2011 vom FORBES Magazine als “mächtigste Frau der Welt’ bezeichnet. Sie unterhält mittlerweile ein von Andy Warhol inspiriertes kreatives Pop-Imperium, mit dem sie ihre Ideen, Kreationen und Inszenierungen ausarbeitet und den Namen Lady Gaga zum Synonym von perfekter Konzeptkunst und zur modernen Ikone gemacht hat.
