Ensemble C4
is based in Oslo and organises its own concerts, usually in the eastern part of Norway. With its many associated freelance musicians, the ensemble is flexible in both expression and size. Since 2015, the ensemble has produced several new concert programmes per year and has thus built up a large repertoire of music from the period around 1575-1800.

With long concert experience and good interaction, the ensemble has developed a playful and virtuosic style that excites the audience and gives great feedback. The ensemble's first CD was recently released. It is a recording of G. F. Handel's Nine German Arias, recorded on LAWO Classics. This will now be celebrated with a release concert at Oslo Ladegård!
