As an orchestral librarian, John Perkel’s career spanned 35 years with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his role with the BSO, he served as the orchestra librarian for the Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra for many summers.
