Ennemond Gautier le Vieux, ein bedeutender Lautenist und Komponist, prägte die französische Lautentradition seiner Zeit entscheidend mit. Sein Werk legte den Grundstein für künftige Musiker, darunter Koryphäen wie Robert de Visée, die später ihre eigenen musikalischen Meisterwerke schufen.

Luca Pianca, Laute

Luca Pianca
geboren 1958 in Lugano, gehört zu den grossen Schweizer Interpreten der alten Musik. Ausgebildet bei Nikolaus Harnoncourt, hat der Lautenist das berühmte Barockorchester Il Giardino Armonico mitbegründet, dirigierte die kompletten Bach-Kantaten am Konzerthaus Wien und arbeitete mit dem Concentus Musicus Wien. Luca Pianca profiliert sich als Solist mit Bachs und Vivaldis Lauten-Gesamtwerk. Auch als Duopartner des Gambisten Vittorio Ghielmi, als sensibler Begleiter (etwa von Cecilia Bartoli) sowie mit Ausflügen in den Rock und die neue Musik beweist Luca Pianca die Vielseitigkeit und Qualität seines erfolgreichen Schaffens.
