Mit der energiegeladenen Single "Conqueror" liefert Aurora eine Auskopplung aus ihrem Debüt-Album "All My Deamons Are Greeting Me As A Friend". Die "Running With The Wolves"-Hitmakerin präsentiert damit einen mitreißenden Song, der musikalisch weit euphorischer daher kommt, als es die eher hoffnungslosen Lyrics zunächst vermuten lassen: "I’ve been looking for the conqueror", singt die talentierte Blondine, "But you don’t seem to come my way."
Auch musikalisch ist in "Conqueror" unglaublich viel los: Da ist zunächst dieser irre gute Refrain, eingängig und mitreißend. In den Strophen wird aber erst so richtig hörbar, wie vielschichtig Auroras Sound tatsächlich ist: Perkussive Beats treffen auf pointiert gesetzte Tasten, Finger schnippen, Knistern und Knacken. Überzeugt euch selbst und hört doch mal rein.
