Nine years after "Laune der Natur", Die Toten Hosen are finally releasing another album of new songs! With "Trink aus, wir müssen gehen!" and the bonus album "Alles muss raus!", the band have come full circle almost 45 years after Die Toten Hosen were formed in 1982: this is likely to be their final regular studio album.

“Someone shouted in the rehearsal room, ‘Let’s make one last album!’. No idea who exactly it was, but in any case, the enthusiasm was huge. We then decided together to go all out one last time and give it our all,” says Campino. And it’s true, the band delivers the full range you’ve come to expect from them, from loud to soft and everything in between.

The band members have a special surprise in store for the cover art of “Trink aus, wir müssen gehen!”: “We’re very happy that we managed to convince our good friend Andreas Gursky to take on the design of the cover image. Based on one of his most important photographs, a cover photo has emerged that was a surprise for both of us.

“The new songs are complemented by the bonus album ‘Alles muss raus!’: ‘As a gift for ourselves and the fans, we’ve recorded another 25 cover songs together with colleagues who are important to us or have grown dear to our hearts,’ says the band about their upcoming release.

Die Toten Hosen

Die Toten Hosen (Pseudonym: Die Roten Rosen)
nennt sich eine Musikgruppe aus Düsseldorf, die sich aus der deutschen Punkbewegung entwickelt hat und 1982 gegründet wurde.

Die Band spielt Rockmusik mit überwiegend deutschen Texten und Elementen aus dem Punkrock. Neben der Berliner Musikgruppe Die Ärzte ist sie eine der kommerziell erfolgreichsten deutschen Bands mit Wurzeln im Punkrock. Sie veröffentlichte bis Mai 2017 sechzehn Studioalben, sechs Konzertalben und sieben Kompilationen. Seit dem Jahr 1990 belegte sie neunmal den ersten Platz der deutschen Albumcharts. Ihren Schwerpunkt legen die Musiker auf Livekonzerte und den nahen Kontakt zum Publikum.
