Info for Night Blooms

Jeff Goldblum is thrilled to release ‘Night Blooms’, the companion album to 2025’s Top 10 (and Jazz No.1) record ‘Still Blooming’. Set for release on 5th June 2026 on Universal's recently relaunched Fontana label, ‘Night Blooms’ features Jeff’s longtime band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.

Hot on the heels of Goldblum’s second turn as the Wizard in Wicked: For Good (Universal), one of Hollywood’s most beloved figures brings us a suite of shimmering standards and star-studded new collaborations. Starring in a major screen musical has deepened his lifelong love of playing piano and singing, helping to turn a 30-year passion project into a successful parallel career.

‘Night Blooms’ explores the musical affinities Goldblum developed on set with Wicked co-stars, including Cynthia Erivo, while deepening new relationships with singing sensation Charlie Puth, the British artist dodie and the jazz legend Melody Gardot, among others.

The first single, released today, featuring Gardot, is ‘Misty’: Erroll Garner’s classic reimagined as a funky jazz boogaloo with a new arrangement by bassist Alex Frank and “black-belt organist” Joe Bagg. Gardot’s urbane vocal adds a whole new level of sophistication to the famous line ‘Look at me, I’m as helpless as a kitten up a tree…’

‘Night Blooms’ offers dazzling new takes on beloved standards from Hollywood’s golden era, again featuring the loveable vocals of Goldblum himself, as well as his versatile and seasoned piano playing throughout. Cynthia Erivo duets playfully with Jeff on ‘If I Only Had A Brain’ and there is a detour into pop with Haley Reinhart’s versions of songs by Taylor Swift and Loreen; an innovative take on the standard ‘Mean To Me’ by dodie, and Charlie Puth adds complex 5-part harmonies to the Rodgers and Hart classic ‘Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered’. The album closes with a treat: four songs from ‘Still Blooming’, including Scarlett Johansson’s version of The Best Is Yet To Come, now presented in new, intimate versions that evoke the feel of a jazz club in the wee hours of the morning. With more announcements to follow, and rumours of UK dates ahead, there is certainly much yet to come from Goldblum and his band.

Jeff Goldblum
is quite simply, Hollywood royalty. Not only has he appeared in some of the biggest and most ground-breaking films of all time, but he is also known to appear in a variety of indie projects much closer to his heart. For his contribution to the world of acting, he was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in 2018. He also directed the Acadamey Award winning short film Little Surprises and taught acting at Playhouse West with Robert Carnegie.

Goldblum has featured in some of the biggest franchises of all time- The Fly in 1986, which propelled him into the spotlight and earned him a Saturn Award for Best Actor, Jurassic park and its follow up sequels, one of the most ambitious and incredible franchises of its time, and Independence Day in 1996, one of the biggest box office draws of all time and its sequel a decade later. Away from the silver screen, Goldblum has featured as the voice of the iMac and iBook commercials for Apple and created his own theatre company, The Fire Dept. In 2018, a 25 ft statue of Goldblum was unveiled in London to celebrate 25 years of Jurassic park. The following year, Disney announced the show The World According To Jeff Goldblum on its streaming service.

Aside from acting, Goldblum is an accomplished musician- he has a jazz band, Jeff Goldblum And The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, that he plays with most Wednesday nights at the Rockwell Club in Los Angeles. In 2018, he was signed by Decca Records and produced his debut studio album, The Capitol Studios Sessions. A year later, this was followed by I Shouldn’t Be Telling You This. He was so successful, he even appeared at Glastonbury music festival in the UK in 2019.
