Backlura, one of Sweden's most expressive bands, consisting of Palle Sollinger, Daniel Fredriksson and Tobias Wiklund, has over the years shared music scenes around the world. Now, the band is reinforced by pianist Cecilia Persson, a progressive force and responsive star among Swedish pianists.

Grammy-nominated cornetist and composer Tobias Wiklund, a prominent figure in the Swedish pop scene (Håkan Hellström, Solen, and Stefan Sundström) as well as in the European jazz scene, joins forces in a creative collaboration with Bob Hansson, hailed as the most read and loved poet in Sweden. This collaboration culminates in the long-awaited album "Big Bang Pågår," which will be released on March 15.

Bob Hansson (poet) and Tobias Wiklund (jazz musician/composer) have created their own musical universe with the successful band "Backlura". A concert experience where the spoken word is in focus and becomes a natural part of the music's interaction, improvisation and responsiveness. A meeting between two "different art forms" that succeed in creating something new!

Tobias Wiklund's compositions move in a broad spectrum from the sphere of image creation to heavy swinging jazz music. Always close to Bob's poetry, which here is allowed to both move the music forward but sometimes also be drowned in improvisation where the music and poetry meet in a showdown for the listener's attention.

Backlura is the band that with its total presence celebrates the weak dynamics and the intense interaction.

Cecilia Persson is one of the country's most expressive pianists and here she becomes a natural part of the band.
